About Us
The Career Coaches Special Interest Group (SIG) is a sharing community of professional career coaches. This community provides resources to career coaches, and coaches who seek to specialize in career coaching. Our purpose is to help coaches to deliver greater value to their clients and to grow and sustain a fulfilling career coaching services practice. SIG meetings are held monthly (except for July and August) on the second Wednesday of the month, from 9:00-10:00am/PT/12:00-1:00 PM ET, usually on a webinar.

Nancy Cattle has enjoyed a long career in Learning and Development, making difficult software topics easy and increasing workplace performance through coaching and motivation. She led her local chapter of ATD (formerly ASTD) in 2016 as its President, furthering the support of the profession. At the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the largest agency in the UN system, she coached high potential leaders going through a Harvard Leadership program, as well as Columbia University interns who had little experience. Her background in Learning and Development, IT, software, and change has led her to creating an online course & coaching platform called Get Yourself Started, which provides career guidance to business professionals as well as personal development topics such as staying well while being a family caregiver. Mike Gellman, M.S. is the author of Pipe Dreams: 7 Pipelines of Career Success and founder of High Five Career Coaching. Previously, he was the Sr. Talent Management Advisor for SoCalGas where he established and managed their career coaching and development center. He has a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Springfield College and is an ACC credentialed coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF). Mike is passionate about coaching and has devoted his career to helping employees, leaders, and teams achieve their potential in corporate and nonprofit environments for the past 15 years.
