Program Description: Often our clients can’t see their own potential but as coaches, we can; through the questions we ask and the answers we don’t get. How many times have you felt like your client is telling you what they think you want to hear? As a career coach it is important to understand the motivations behind the career choices. Because identity is so closely tied with career the motivations are often not driven by potential but by false assumptions, expectations (put on them by themselves and others) and fear, none of which will serve a thriving career. So how do you identify the potential in your client? Attend the session and begin the discovery process.

You will learn:

• How to help the client discover who they really are, beyond the titles
• How to identify the things that get in the way of your client’s potential
• How to help your client embrace the vision of their potential.
• How to be an effective accountability partner for your client.

About the Presenter:

Frederica, is a professionally certified Executive and Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, Best Selling Author, Adjunct Professor and Radio and TV Show Host. She is also CEO and Founder of her own coaching and consulting practice, Unique Insights Coaching, dedicated to helping executives and professionals achieve their path to success.

Prior to founding her practice, Frederica spent over 20 years as a key leader in the Telecom and Financial Services industries.

Frederica has a passion and talent for helping people discover their true potential and removing the things that get in the way of living their best life! She enjoys journeying with her clients as they experience the “process” of self-discovery.

Frederica holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Behavior from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a certification in Image Consulting from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. Frederica is also an Adjunct Professor for Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Master’s program for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Ms. Peterson is a Master Practitioner of the Energy Leadership Development IndexÔ. She is also a member of the International Coaching Federation and is a 2015 NJ Assembly Resolution Honoree for International Coaching Week, where she was recognized for her contributions to the coaching field for the past 20 years.

Frederica is a member of the Executive Advisory Committee for the Association of Talent Development for Northern New Jersey and is a volunteer facilitator for Dress for Success’ Going Places Network program.

Her radio show, “Shifting the Atmosphere with Frederica”, soared to one of the top radio shows at the station gaining over 10,000 listeners in the first six months of going on the air. Frederica has recently expanded her show to podcast and can be found on Spreaker, iTunes, Spotify and soon, iHeart radio. In May 2017 Frederica launched her Internet TV show on her YouTube channel, “Shifting the Atmosphere with Frederica.” Her third book, “Get Unstuck: 5 Steps to Your Transition,” is targeted for release Fall of 2017.

Frederica enjoys being involved with her church, which she has been a member for almost 20 years. She is also an avid reader and member of the Northern NJ chapter of Sister’s Sipping Tea Book Club. She enjoys traveling throughout the US and abroad, allowing her to meet new people from different cultures and has a particular fondness for destinations and activities by the sea.
