Lynda Grossman

Her clients have ranged from entry-level to executive-level professionals in fields as diverse as management, non-profit, education, marketing, law, finance and engineering.

She helps people identify, articulate and reach their career goals. Her specialties include job search strategies, resume and cover letter writing, networking, salary negotiation and interviewing skills. She has conducted hundreds of workshops on those topics. Her approach is direct and no-nonsense, ensuring clients have the knowledge, skills and contacts to advance their job searches and career objectives.

As a consultant, she has provided strategic planning services to organizations seeking to enhance and expand their career services, including the University of Cincinnati and JVS Career Services.

Before launching her business, Lynda spent more than 15 years developing and leading career services offices at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio; Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania; and Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. Prior to that Lynda worked in Cooperative Education at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Lynda is certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality assessment to help people identify their strengths. She also uses the Strong Interest Inventory and SkillScan Career Driver Online as tools for career self-assessment.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and Spanish at the State University of New York at Binghamton. Her Master of Education degree in Counseling is from Northeastern University.
