Program Description:  

As we approach the new year, it is the perfect time to assess and refresh core coaching skills that are the foundation for a successful practice. In this session, we’ll be diving deep into the ICF core competencies as well as a few other key concepts. The discussion will focus on using these skills throughout your coaching engagements, from the sales process through to ending relationships with clients when they’ve achieved their goals. We’ll discuss how coaching skills are key to building your practice in a meaningful way, how structuring your coaching with these core competencies can improve client outcomes, and how every coach feels challenged in these skills at some point in their work.

During this session, you will:

1) Renew your understanding of and commitment to using core coaching competencies throughout your engagements.

2) Consider new ways of applying coaching skills and structure for increased confidence.

3) Evaluate where you want to focus in 2016 to improve your outcomes and business growth.

About Our Speaker:

Marie Zimenoff is the Executive Director of Career Thought Leaders and the Resume Writing Academy.  She provides training and development opportunities for professionals across the careers industry. She also coaches and develops talent within organizations, creating programs that focus on personal branding, leadership, and career management. She has served as President of the Colorado Career Development Association (2010-2011) and The National Résumé Writers’ Association (2012-2013).

A consultant and trainer, Marie has delivered career and leadership development programs, designed curriculum, and provided staff training in workforce, corrections, university, community college, and business environments. She has presented at national conferences for NCDA, NAWDP, and The NRWA.

Marie holds a Master of Education degree in Counseling and Career Development from Colorado State University, is a Nationally Certified Counselor, and holds numerous resume writing, coaching, and branding certifications.
